Leaving Tuesday...

My husband Ken and I are leaving Tuesday for Québec City in Canada! We booked a direct flight to Montreal and purchased train tickets to take us the 3 hours north to this 'walled city'.

With our last minute plans, it was a little stressful finding the perfect place for our 8 day stay, but Jean François of Auberge Aux Deux Lions made it easy. He arranged for us to stay 2 nights in one semi-private room, then the last 6 nights in the 'fancy' room with un jardin privé! It's very close to Vieux-Québec and also to a Bike Rental location where he has assured me we can get a good deal since we will be renting bikes for 8 days! I'll post more in a couple of days!!

2010 8th Grade Maps

The 8th grade students created maps for imaginary towns. Later, they wrote out directions in French from one place to another using their own maps. Then, as a class, we circled around, reading each set of directions, trying to find our way!
